Serverless API

/02 About
A managed API gateway in front of functions that scale to zero, with managed storage, a queue for background work and scheduled jobs.
Request handling, background processing and scheduled work run as functions on a managed platform that scales them automatically and charges per use. State lives in managed data services. When to use: spiky or unpredictable traffic, small teams that want no servers to patch, event-triggered processing and early products where low idle cost matters. Trade-offs: little operations work and cost that tracks usage; in exchange, cold starts, execution time limits, platform coupling and harder local testing. Keep functions small and stateless, and push long work onto the queue.
